# Ehab Fahym - design basis / concept 01

Prepared 18 September 2026. Working design proposal for review.

## Inputs and interpretation
- 123.pdf: one portrait sheet, interpreted as ground floor and site. Reception seating, dining, kitchen, central stair, small internal guest/service room, detached side service annex, pool, garden, rear outdoor lounge and three parked cars are shown.
- 1234.pdf: one portrait sheet explicitly titled First Floor Plan. Three bedrooms, principal dressing area, family lounge, bathrooms, stair and terraces are visible.
- Originals are preserved byte-for-byte in 10_Drawings; their hashes are in source-register.json.
- The sheets contain no readable dimensions, scale bar, north arrow, sections, elevations, location or finish specification. Raster previews preserve their plotted colours; some source linework is faint.

## Model assumptions
- Main building width is provisionally 8.0 m only to give the viewer a human scale. This is NOT a measured dimension. No areas, quantities or construction dimensions are issued.
- Relative outline and room arrangement are manually interpreted from each sheet. Main building depth is approximately 17.4 m in this assumed scale. The model is not a CAD trace or an as-built survey.
- Ground floor elevation 0.00; first floor +3.25 m; nominal clear height 2.95 m; slab 0.26 m; partitions 0.16 m. Every value is an assumption, not extracted evidence.
- Stairs, openings and glazing are schematic. Elevations, structural system, precise stair compliance, door swings, service routing and pool engineering are not resolved.
- The side service annex and three vehicle positions are represented as simplified concept masses. The internal compact room uses a proposed bed layout; its intended use needs confirmation.
- Furniture is modeled as simplified original geometry. Sizes and exact clearances need checking against a dimensioned survey. The model has no purchased manufacturer assets.
- Plant forms indicate landscape massing; species, irrigation and root clearances require site input.
- No verified site orientation is supplied. Lighting is an artistic study, not a solar analysis.
- Finishes are proposed, not approved or purchased. The moodboard is an AI-generated generic material study, not a photo of physical samples or the actual project.

## Design direction
Warm contemporary: pale mineral plaster and limestone, natural oak, oatmeal linen, ivory boucle, bronze, olive and restrained tobacco accents. Maintain a light matte envelope, put timber at cabinetry and furniture, repeat garden colours in textiles, and avoid competing feature finishes.

## Room-by-room intent
1. Reception: two distinct seating groups, low stone tables, woven rugs, oak media partition, and clear routes toward the rear terrace.
2. Dining: a six-seat stone-topped table with oak base, soft upholstered chairs and proposed dimmable pendant/task light.
3. Kitchen: warm oak lower/tall cabinetry with pale stone worktops. Final appliances, work triangle, storage internals and MEP require the dimensioned plan.
4. Entrance and service: durable stone, restrained furniture and consistent joinery. Confirm the internal guest/service use before detailing.
5. Principal suite: fabric headboard, linen bedding, olive runner, oak bedside pieces, separated dressing and a small reading corner.
6. Secondary bedrooms: continue the quiet palette with robust storage; final occupant needs and bed sizes remain open.
7. Family lounge: more relaxed seating and a compact stone table; maintain the stair landing and terrace route.
8. Bathrooms: pale stone/porcelain study, oak-effect or protected joinery, bronze fittings. Waterproofing, ventilation, gradients and slip resistance require technical design.
9. Garden: outdoor living deck, pool coping, terrace seating and layered boundary planting; coordinate parking, service access and drainage.

## Lighting and material coordination
Propose dimmable 2700-3000 K lighting with high colour fidelity. Separate ambient, reading, task and accent layers. Verify samples under daylight and proposed lamps. Coordinate stone joints, thresholds, timber grain, metal finishes and upholstery care before ordering.

## Viewing and VR
Open Start-Presentation.cmd for the local presentation and interactive model. The HTML story and PDF remain directly readable; the GLB viewer needs a local HTTP server.
Desktop: orbit, zoom, pan, floor controls, eye-level navigation and a rendered 360-degree living panorama. Desktop walking uses simple horizontal obstacle checks, not a navigation mesh or validated accessibility route.
WebXR: a compatible headset and secure browser origin are required. Localhost supports a headset connected to this computer. Standalone headsets require this folder served over trusted HTTPS. Source/serve.py supports --host, --cert and --key for an already-trusted certificate; no public hosting is created.
In headset mode, controller trigger cycles curated room viewpoints. The panorama is monoscopic 360 imagery; the real-time model provides geometric stereo. Physical headset testing has not been performed.

## To confirm before technical development
Dimensioned CAD or measured survey, site orientation and location, elevations, floor heights, structural constraints, intended room uses, preferred furniture sizes, budget, finish samples and client design approval.

## Production
Native scene and GLB are generated locally with Blender 4.5.0. The stills and panorama are actual path-traced renders of that concept scene. Three.js 0.169.0 is bundled locally with its license; no CDN is required. The scene's procedural microtextures appear in Blender renders; the GLB uses the matching base-colour PBR materials rather than baked microtextures.


## Client presentation edition 02
Six photorealistic images were created using the built-in ChatGPT image-generation tool at the client's request. The living, bedroom and garden images use model renders as composition references. An evening variant, a dining concept and a material-detail view develop the proposed atmosphere. These are AI-assisted visualizations, not measured geometry, site photographs or actual V-Ray output. The dining design and styling details are proposals, not additions already built into the editable model. The original model-derived stills, native model, GLB and 360 panorama remain available. The presentation is updated to 20 pages. Full image-generation prompts are in Source/realistic-image-prompts.json.


## Rendered floor plans / edition 03
The ground/site and first-floor renderings use the original PDF previews as primary references and schematic model plans as secondary references. They develop the materials, furniture and landscape visually, but are not measured CAD drawings or exact geometry reproductions. The originals and deterministic model renders remain separately selectable in the 2D viewer. Full prompts are retained in Source/floor-plan-image-prompts.json.
